A seminar entitled "Mikusinski's Operational Calculus"

From 4:30 to 5 pm on Thursday 5 March 2026, our Department of Mathematics staff member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arran Fernandez will deliver a seminar entitled "Mikusinski's Operational Calculus". This talk will be about the application of abstract algebra (the theory of rings and fields) to solving differential equations as problems in analysis: ordinary, partial, and fractional differential equations will be considered, through the history of the topic. All are welcome to attend the talk in ASG11 (ASA2), and refreshments will be provided.
