Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) graduates Ahmet Bilgen and Koray Gültekin Bahar once again achieved to appear on the “100 Most Influential Digital Leaders of Türkiye” list by Fast Company Türkiye. EMU Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Applied Mathematics and Computer Sciences undergraduate and master’s programs graduate Ahmet Bilgen and, EMU Faculty of Engineering, Department of Computer Engineering graduate Koray G. Bahar are viewed among the most influential figures leading digital transformation in Türkiye.
Ahmet Bilgen, who is also the first angel investment of Türkiye, is renowned with his technology-oriented initiatives and his leadership in the field of investing. Founder of the new generation technology companies such as TrendBox, FigoPara and Caretta Robotics, Bilgen plays a pioneering role in Türkiye’s entrepreneurial landscape by driving impactful innovations in the digital economy.
Founding Partner and CEO of the FigoPara, Koray Gültekin Bahar serves in key leadership roles including Vice Chair of the Young Entrepreneurs Board at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), Chair of TOBB’s Financial Technologies Assembly, and as a board member of Endeavor Türkiye. With significant senior management experience in digital finance and software industries, Bahar is recognized as a pioneer in the sector, especially for his impactful initiatives and projects in financial technology and digital transformation.
